AACP Express Scripts Scholarship

This program provides up to four scholarships to enrolled dual degree students. An additional consideration is given to low socio-economic status students and those who are underrepresented minorities. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. All of them have to be enrolled in a dual degree program related to pharmacy.
ABA Diversity Scholarship
Application Deadline: Varies
Amount: $5,000
This program concentrates on broadening the amount of traditionally underrepresented groups in the management and operation ranks of the transportation, travel, and tourism industry. Students should have completed their first year of college at an accredited university; they should have a declared major or course of study relevant to the transportation, travel, and tourism industry; and must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA. Each candidate must submit a 500-word essay discussing the role they want to play in this industry.
ACHE Albert W. Dent Graduate Student Scholarship

Amount: $5,000
This scholarship aims to provide financial aid to minority students in healthcare management graduate programs to assist with compensation of tuition costs, student loans, and expenses. It is designated for minority students in their final year of a healthcare management graduate program.
ACS Scholars Program
Application Deadline: 3/1/2021
Amount: $5,000
This program is designed for underrepresented minority students (including African Americans, Hispanics, American Indians, etc.) who want to enter the fields of chemistry or chemistry-related fields. High school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors pursuing a college degree in the chemical sciences or chemical technology are eligible to apply. The candidates must be US citizens or permanent residents; have a GPA of 3.0, “B” or better in chemistry or science; and demonstrate financial need according to the FAFSA form and the SAR form.
Actuarial Diversity Scholarship
Application Deadline: 5/2/2021
Amount: $4,000
This program promotes diversity within the profession through an annual scholarship program for African Americans, Hispanics, Native North American, and Pacific Islander students.
Every candidate has to fulfill all the requirements listed below:
- Intent on pursuing a career in the actuarial profession;
- Must have at least one birth parent who is a member of one of the minority groups listed above;
- Will be a full-time undergraduate student at a US accredited educational institution;
- Must have GPA 3.0, emphasis on math or actuarial courses.
- College freshmen must have a minimum ACT math score of 28 or SAT math score of 600.
Actuarial examinations are always a significant factor in assessing scholarship qualifications for applicants entering their junior year and beyond. Besides, examinations passed will also be considered for previous award recipients applying to renew the scholarship.
African American Network of the Carolinas

This program is designed for college-bound students from North and South Carolina who are pursuing a major in engineering, math, science, computer science, accounting, finance, or business administration. Each candidate has to be a graduating senior at a North or South Carolina high school and needs to attend a four-year college or university located in North or South Carolina. Additionally, they have to plan to major in engineering, computer science, the sciences, accounting, finance, or business administration.
ALA – LITA/LSSI Scholarship
Application Deadline: 3/1/2021
Amount: $2,500
This scholarship aims to encourage the entry of qualified persons into the library and automation field who are going to build a career in that field; who has achievements in and a strong commitment to the use of automated systems in libraries; and who are members of one of the minority groups. The applicants must be US or Canadian citizens. This scholarship is for study in an ALA Accredited Master of Library Science program.
American Association of Blacks in Energy Scholarship

Amount: $5,000
This scholarship is designed to increase the number of underrepresented minority members in energy-related fields. The candidate should have a minimum of 3.0 GPA, be a graduating high school senior who is going to enroll in the next semester in an accredited college or university; planning to major in business, one of the physical sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematic fields, in preparation for a career in the energy sector; be one of the historically underrepresented minorities in the sciences, technology, engineering, and math-related disciplines.
American Library Association Spectrum Scholarship
Application Deadline: 3/1/2021
Amount: $5,000
Candidates have to be US or Canada citizens or permanent residents and have to be American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino or Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander and need to attend an ALA-accredited graduate program in library and information studies or an ALA-recognized NCATE School Library Media program. Applicants have to be enrolled in an accredited program and maintain a minimum course load of two classes per semester.
Amos & Edith Wallace Scholarship
Application Deadline: 4/12/2021
Amount: $1,000
This program aims to reward young, bright African-American students with an exemplary commitment to service and education. The candidates have to be female African-American High School seniors graduating from Kanakekee High School in Kankakee, IL; they need to possess a minimum of 2.8 GPA and be going to attend a four-year accredited college or university in the fall. Every applicant has to include a 400-600 word essay with the application.
AMS Minority Scholarships
Application Deadline: 2/8/2021
Amount: $6,000
This program is created for minority students who have been traditionally underrepresented in the sciences, especially Hispanic, Native American, and Black/African American students. The scholarship is distributed once per year during freshman and sophomore years (second-year funding is provided in the candidate completes the first academic year successfully). The candidates must be US citizens or hold permanent resident status and have to be minority students who will be entering their freshman year of college in the fall; they must plan to build careers in the atmospheric or related oceanic and hydrologic sciences.
