Machine learning and other educational technologies change significantly the way students get their education. New advanced learning approach also shapes the role of educators, their methods. The same is about classrooms` reconstructions and remodeling.

With a great number of newly introduced learning models which are available on the market now, the traditional ways of studying are left behind. Let`s take a closer look at how technology develops in the field of education and which advantages it can bring to the future.

  • Technology provides with a more personalized model of learning Each student is unique and learns differently. Thanks to technology, educators are able to find learning styles and methods, which fit each student`s demands and needs. These styles are created on a case-by-case basis. In other words, the technologies like this can adapt to students` skill levels and provide with courses which suit them best. This adaptive learning is pushing away the role of textbooks while learning.  Students now work more with computer programs which meet their needs.

  • Technology is expected to present some new philosophical needs in education Now technology is making it easier to find any information on the Web or make calculation online. However, educators still determine important types of knowledge students should get in order to use all advanced learning models properly and benefit from it. Today students are taught how to perceive and realize the material on their own. The main goal of education is to empower students` brain with the information. Students should learn how to think, how to critically describe and accept different situations.
  • The roles of teachers and educators will always be in demand Even with the technologies in education, a teacher`s role will not be undermined. Just on the contrary, students will need teachers even more. The deal is that only teachers will be able to track the progress students are making with their subjects. The same is about giving instructions and explanations.

  • Students will feel more responsibility in the classrooms With technologies, educators are able to understand the learning process better. Classrooms are formed around small groups including children with the same level of knowledge. These individual groups provide students with the opportunity to feel more independence while studying. Students have more ownership. Consequently, they care more about how they study. In addition, creating an agency in the classrooms makes students more motivated. With technologies, which adapt to individual level of knowledge, each student now has an opportunity to be better equipped and learn using own suggested approach.
